<p>DOT FMCSA self-compliant application is designed to ensure adherence to regulations concerning driver duty status. It includes provisions such as the 60-hour/7-days or 70-hour/8-days Rules, the 34-hour week restart with the latest suspension of two periods from 1-5 AM, 11 hours of driving per day, 14 hours on duty per day, Sleeper Berth provision, Passenger Seat provision, Personal Conveyance provision, 30-minute break provision, as well as location recording for a vehicle’s engine activations and shutdowns, with location recording every 60 minutes while the vehicle is in motion.</p>
<p>Moreover, this application restricts duty status changes on mobile devices only when the vehicle is at rest. It also features warnings to alert drivers visually and/or audibly in case of any malfunctions. In situations where the vehicle is stationary for 5 minutes or longer, the mobile device will automatically switch to on-duty not driving status, prompting the driver to input the correct status.</p>
